These general conditions of sale are intended for the use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms at "La Vieille Maison de Pensol", 87440 Pensol, France.
They constitute the reservation contract between the owners, Véronique and Jean-François BRAUD and the client of a stay in a bed and breakfast.
Article 1 - Duration of the stay: The customer rents one or more rooms for a fixed period and cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.
Article 2 - Prices: The prices indicated on the website www.lavieillemaisondepensol.com are the only contractual prices. They are inclusive of all taxes (the owner is not subject to VAT, article 293 B of the CGI), excluding tourist tax.
Article 3 - Confirmation of a reservation: The reservation is made on the website www.lavieillemaisonsdepensol.com, by email or by phone. A reservation contract will be sent by email or by post. The reservation is considered firm only after receipt of deposit collected upon receipt and deductible from the invoice on your arrival. The deposit must be paid no later than 5 working days from the date of the reservation request . The amount of the deposit is 25% of the price of the stay with a minimum of one night . Payment of the deposit can be made: • by bank check (payable to Ms. BRAUD) • by bank transfer • by secure Paypal payment via the internet, at an additional 3% covering transaction costs, or on request, directly via the booking module on our website (Your credit card can serve as a guarantee and exempt you from paying a deposit) . The payment of deposit implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale. Upon receipt of the deposit, you will be sent an email or sms of good reception.
Article 4- Cancellation by the client: Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner. • The conditions of sale of the reserved rate specify the terms of cancellation and / or modification of the reservation. Reservations with prepayment cannot be subject to any modification and / or cancellation. In this case, it is mentioned in the conditions of sale of the tariff. If the client does not appear before 7 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, the owners reserve the right to dispose of their guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owners who reserve the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation. • In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation and additional services consumed remains fully acquired by the owners. The customer is reminded, in accordance with article L. 121-21-8 12 ° of the Consumer Code, that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 121-21 of the consumption.All reservations are nominative and cannot in any case be transferred to a third party, either free of charge or for a fee.
Covid-19 - in accordance with the ordinance taken in application of article 11 of the law n ° 2020-290 of March 23, 2020 of urgency to face the epidemic of covid-19, for any request for cancellation of your stay, we will offer you an "A-value" of the amount of your reservation, usable on the dates of your choice for 18 months.
At the end of this period, if you have not been able to use your deposit, and on your request, we will reimburse the amount of your reservation in full.
This procedure is applicable from March 1, 2020 to September 14, 2020 .
Article 5 - Cancellation by the owners: When before the start of the stay, the owners cancel the stay, for reasons beyond their control, they must inform the client as soon as possible by telephone or email. This will be refunded immediately of the sums paid.
Article 6 - Arrival time:The client must present himself on the specified day of the reservation and at the times mentioned below. The rooms are available from 5 p.m. Please notify in case of arrival after 7 p.m. We do not accept arrivals after 10pm. Thank you for ensuring that these times are respected, which will ensure the availability of the owners to welcome you at best.
Article 7 - Departure time: The rooms must be vacated by 11 am.
Article 8 - Payment of the balance of the accommodation: the balance of the stay will be paid on arrival. Payment of the balance can be made: • In cash • By check • By credit card • By holiday check • By bank transfer • By secure Paypal payment via internet, for an additional 3% covering transaction costs (internet access available ). Unplanned consumption and additional services will be paid at the end of the stay.
Article 9 - Tourist tax: the tourist tax is a local tax in addition to the overnight stay.It is collected by the owners on behalf of the tourist office.
Article 10 - Change of rooms: without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owners reserve the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer for a room of the same capacity or of higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Article 11 - Capacity: The reservation is established for a specific number of people. If the day of arrival, the number of occupants is higher, the owners are able to refuse additional people. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract on the initiative of the owners, so that in case of departure of a number of people greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.
Article 12 - Breakfast: Breakfast is served as you arrive from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the dining room.The owners will ask you the previous evening the approximate time you have chosen for your breakfast.
Article 13 - Host tables: Dinner is served at 8:00 p.m. for all of our guests in the dining room. The supply on the markets and at the producers / traders requires that you reserve your dinner several days before your arrival.
Article 14 - Pets: despite all the affection we have for them, our animal friends are not accepted at "La Vieille Maison de Pensol".
